Short Song Description: A Greek Tragedy. Something bad happens (it is a tragedy, after all). Somebody's distraught (tragically). Someone comes back home probably 'tragically' dead for a funeral or maybe defeated in war in a procession.
Long Song Description: The piece is based on the idea of a Greek play. I did not use a Greek chorus but added a couple of Greek instruments (Greek flute and a harp) to give a nod to Greek instruments. There are no Greek themes but the piece is divided into three parts with the last two parts played together (attacca).
Story Behind the Song: There is no story behind the piece except to say the first two parts were composed in about three days. The last piece was borrowed from another piece that was not too successful except for the finale which was re-orchestrated here for this finale.
